exit interview june 2019

1. Which assignments did you enjoy and why?

This game helped our creative side, it was really fun and easy to do. we had a lot of time so we got it done. It was fun to add things and make it look cool.
the coding was fun, i like coding. also for the spin offs we got to create what we wanted to those were fun. it wasnt that hard as well, i learnt it easily
this was very fun, my favorite thing we did, we got to unlock and learn new things. this helped me learn how to survive after multiple deaths

2. Which assignments did you struggle with and why?

although it was fun i struggled. The time management was not good, since i was absent 1 day then it all loaded on me. also i did keep dying in the beginning so i couldn't accomplish it all.

i was struggling with achieving the speeds it told us to. i wanted to get an A but some i couldn't get exact same so b or c instead.

3. Report Card Comment

sheza is such a great sudent oh my god. she should take this class net year as she has been a pleasure to have. although she is a very outgoing student she does need to focus a bit more in class. which would happen if her sister was not there. other than tat sheza is my favourite student and hse deserves an A for her attitude but B because of her work.
The report card comment usually describes how competent you became with the objectives of the assignments and your understanding of each assignment as a whole (or the 'big picture').

What should your report card comment say?

PLAY DAY 2 game journalism

1. What specifically did you do today?

i created a collection net to collect items automatically. I finally killed the shark once and got some meat. i built an other floor and ladder to get onto high islands. i chopped down a few trees from the island and got wood and coconuts.

2. What did you learn about how to play the game (TIPS&TRICKS)?

I learnt how to create new things, by using the research table. It is where you research items to know what you can create from them and i learnt how to make the collection net. i also learnt how to collect items from underwater using tools. i learnt eating raw fish reduces water levels which i didnt know

3. What strategies are you going to try to focus on tomorrow?

Im going to try focusing on creating things that will help automatically sustain me better, without having me to do too much work to get things. going to build my raft bigger. Plant food so i can have food with me whenever needed

4. Add a picture of your raft. (include a caption) Explain what you have done to your raft and WHY.

PLAY DAY 1 game journalism

1. What specifically did you do?

I started the raft game by creating a server. i started off with the plastic hook and clicked my mouse buttons to find out what it does, and learnt that left click was to throw it and holding it changed the intensity of the throw. I then used it as much as possible before it died and collected anything i could mostly wood plastic, leaves, and most importantly barrels, because they had multiple items. i noticed i was low on food and water so i needed a way to build things. I then clicked every letter on my keyboard until i clicked "I" which opened an inventory. i scrolled through and saw a lot of things but first i built more floor after i noticed sharks destroyed those. I needed water so i checked around and then crafted the cup, which i used to get water. i new it was salt so i had to purify which i did after crafting a purifier. i also saw the fishing hook so i crafted that and caught fish, then cooked them on the stove. I used up all my wood and didnt have any left to create a hook so i couldn't power the purifier so i died. i retried but this time made sure i made multiple hooks.

2. What did you learn about about how to play the game?
                                (Tips and Tricks)

I learnt that the best way to survive long is collecting a bunch in the beginning, creating what you need only, and then saving some items for just in case. Always have an extra hook to get items. Make the platform bigger and put important items in the middle, such as stove, or purifier so that if the shark does bite, it wont destroy those. you can right click on hammer to make walls, and other structures. Before night hoard items because its hard to get at night

3. What strategies are you going to try to focus on tomorrow?

Getting a big raft with items that will sustain me. so stove, purifier, maybe multiple so whenever i might lack of the essentials i can go get them. also i will try having many items in my inventory so i don't run out when i need them badly

4. Add a picture of your raft that includes a description

My raft has these placed in the middle, so that a shark get destroy them, i have multiple items in inventory, I have walls created after finding out i could create them.
